General Installation Guide
🛠️ 1. Tools & Preparation
Tools: Penetrating oil (e.g. WD-40), wrench or specific socket (like 7/8" O2 socket), and an OBD2 Scanner.
Combo Kits: If replacing a pair/set, verify you match the correct plug/length for Left/Right or Upstream/Downstream positions.
📍 2. Locate & Remove
Find the faulty part's location. Spray penetrating oil on the old threads and wait 10-15 mins. Carefully unplug the connector and remove the part.
⚙️ 3. Install New Part
Hand-thread the new part first to avoid cross-threading. If applicable (e.g. sensors), apply a tiny bit of anti-seize to threads (avoid the tip). Tighten firmly.
💻 4. Clear Fault Codes (DTCs)
Common resolved codes: P0030-P0059, P0130-P0167, P0420, P0430. Use your OBD2 scanner to clear the codes, then take a test drive to verify.
